Video Urology Consultation in Birmingham

Mr Syed Ali Shahzad, Consultant Urological and Robotic Surgeon, offers video consultations for patients who prefer to discuss their symptoms, results or concerns from the comfort of their home before attending in person, or who are unable to travel easily to one of his clinic locations in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

What Can a Video Consultation Cover?

Video consultations are suitable for:

  • Initial discussion of symptoms and medical history
  • Review of investigation results (blood tests, scan reports, biopsy results)
  • Discussion of treatment options
  • Second opinion consultations
  • Follow-up appointments where physical examination is not required

When an In-Person Appointment Is Needed

A physical examination and in-person attendance are required for procedures such as cystoscopy, urodynamics, biopsy and any surgical procedure. Mr Shahzad will advise at the time of the video consultation whether an in-person visit is required.

Book a Video Consultation

Video consultations are available to self-pay patients and are recognised by most major health insurers. No GP referral is required. Book a video appointment or contact us for more information.
